Jello Shot Cupcakes

Every once in a while the wife gets an urge to make cupcakes and they always seem to be the craziest ideas and turn out to be incredible. These are actually made with the pre-jellofied liquid and some rum for taste. We will definitely be having these again.

Grilling the basics

Everytime I go back home, we always wind up grilling. It doesn't matter what it is, if it can be grilled we do it. It just so happened this week we made turkey burgers (I think they're better for you anyways) and chicken; oh, and the buns...

Churros! Churros! Churros!

We had a family night last week and decided to go to our favorite mexican restaurant El Pueblo's in our hometown. Now, I've never eaten churros before but fortunately my friend Hannah (!shoutout!) decided this was all she was going to eat and was kind enough to share with me, now I can share with you. Muy Delicioso!!!

Crab Dip & Cheeseburger

My family and I recently went to the Reel Bar at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina, and I have to say I did not have high expectations but this is no ordinary bar so if you're ever in Charleston, SC you need to stop in and grab some lunch. They have a full menu and I did not expect the portions to be this big. Believe it or not the best part of the meal was the coarse kosher salt on the fries, uh-ma-zing*. We ordered crab dip for an appetizer, my wife ordered a chicken sandwich, I got the black angus cheeseburger, my brother got a rueben and my mom got an ahi tuna sandwich. I didn't hear any complaints...
